West Norway Road-Trip Guide

I love driving in Western Norway! It has been something I have been doing since I moved here eight years ago. However, I’ve always found information online to be vague. Maybe they mention one or two scenic spots along the way, but there’s so much more than that. During 2020/21, when I was out of work, my husband and I embarked on three major road-trips of Norway, and during those trips I recorded everything with a GoPro. I then came home and spent months editing the videos, writing down every single thing I passed and why it was there.

All of the videos I recorded are on YouTube! https://www.youtube.com/thehiddennorth

After many years of work, all of that research has turned into this book. I have included all the major historic sites with background information on why they are there, as well as farms you can visit, local shops, museums, viewpoints, scenic detours, and practical information. This is the best possible guide for anyone looking for an in-depth and comprehensive guide for Western Norway.
